Coworker Music

The whole coworker music discourse with this guy is hilarious to me.

It made me wonder when a piece of music becomes 'coworker music'? Because off the bat I could list at least 10 people I've worked with from memory who would listen to this stuff. And I have absolutely no idea why.

What makes coworker music....coworker music, and what artists can be said to release it?

At first I thought it mean like... lounge music or mall music. Like those tropical soft drop and Zedd top 10 hits featuring female vocals.

Isn't it mean music that safe and bland like air and water that you can basically play it at everywhere?

I think it means....the kind of people you only ever come across at work who listen to such abominably poor music like this and they don't find it offensive or basic in any way  Which is so funny to me because like I say I've worked with many people like this. The fact that it's a phenomenon is hilarious
