Her voice sounds drastically different in Sour Candy and Babylon already  In Babylon she sounds like “rain — on — me”, while in Sour Candy, it quite literally sounds like her antidepressants themselves, her voice is fragile, nasal, shaky and altered to the point where it sounds like she’s almost struggling to just talk

I know they're different, what i mean is just that even though it's different, (in my mind) it's so obviously her voice and her singing/talking accent if that makes sense?

At some point it does remind me a bit of Cake Like Lady Gaga, but I don’t know, it still sounds like a new vocal delivery to me

I’m not surprised people didn’t realize immediately, especially if you’re not familiar with Doechii. It’s what you’d expect from Doe more than from Ga.

But I won’t lie, I’m not a reference. When DWAS was just released, I used to think Bruno was singing some parts even though it was actually Gaga
