DESTROY UR DISEASE 14,984 Posted February 11 Share Posted February 11 Gaga is known for doing quite unexpected things in her career and sometimes you might think you know her next move... nope, not this time, once again (yes I'm thinking of OG LG5 - whether it was real or not). After discussing her first four studio albums we have reached probably the most overlooked album of her career - Joanne The one that seems so different from the rest of her discography. The one that: you either get it or you don't. Which non-single song from this album, in your opinion, deserved the single treatment the most? Spoiler If anybody's wondering about the title track - apparently while the piano version was released worldwide the album version was released only in Italy so kinda similar situation to Dance In The Dark. Also I don't see people mentioning it as a single that often either soo... there's that My choice is gonna be John Wayne and I think also Diamond Heart What about you? Not my favorite one from her, mostly because of the genres used, but we've got some of the most deepest lyrics in that album - socially speaking. Or diamond heart I can't really imagine songs like john wayne, or dancin in circles on the radio. While not single worthy, JAD could have been gently pushed across different avenues, incl. a few performances. I remember it being featured in a commercial once and it just has that vibe to it.
