Perverts is lowkey diet Lingua Ignota, but it’s a good record nonetheless

I really liked Perverts, I’ve listened to it more than Wiloughby. It’s been fun seeing pop fans’ brains short circuit discovering dark ambient music :brat:

Insanely good, one of the best storytellers and worldbuilders in music rn, all of her 3 albums are amazing. Perverts is her hardest listen (for obvious reasons). I've seen her live 2 times (well 2.5 if we count the concert she stopped 3 songs in lmao) and she's also a great live singer, her concert was probably my favorite of this year. Seeing her in concert again next year!

I can't get into some of her projects but I still think she's among the best somewhat "mainstream" artists we have working right now. We need more creative people like her in the spotlight.

She is fine. Decent music.

Her earlier reminds me with CAS some, but overall she have that Southern influence her, which I am not really into. Just name some; country, blues, gospel, among others, not the kind of Indies that I really appreciate, so to say.

She's pretty good but there are so many other artists in the alternative scene who I would rather go to for that dark indie vibe like Chelsea Wolfe, Lingua Ignota, Anna Von Hausswolff etc

DESTROY UR DISEASE

Honestly not really familiar with her music (but I will get into her discography one day, I promise) except American Teenager and Ptolemaea. LOVE the first one, terrified of the second one (but in a good way lol). Overall I do kinda like her and I think she's really great at what she's doing.

Never listened. Where should i start?

I would recommend starting with either the Inbred EP or Preacher’s Daughter, her first LP. That’s where most of her more popular tracks come from.

Fair warning, going into either of these (or any of her stuff honestly) can cause some emotional turmoil lol. She doesn’t shy away from heavy topics

She makes depressing music, which I tend to gravitate towards... but I dunno, I just haven't been able to connect to it in a way that makes me want to listen to her music more than once.
