I suspect that somebody may have injected that word into the discourse in response to a specific event. She has made some changes to her team, some people are gone. There was no fanfare, no announcements, it just became apparent that they were no longer there. Michael could have been the driver behind her grasping that nettle, and if so, then the 'controlling' narrative could be coming from person or persons who lost out in the reshuffle. This is exactly what I think; I’ve seen some comments on instagram saying “My friend used to work with [former team member] and he only cares about money.” It’s clear that the Haus is run better now than in the past due to changes and seemingly good decisions. With her health and artistry better than ever I think the results of the last 5+ years speak for themselves without needing to wait any longer for “proof” lol. It was a very involved post, most of these blinds are just a sentence or two. This was a massive paragraph that seemed to be speculation written by a concerned fan who was reading way too much into what they perceived as red flags. I ultimately think it's all rumour. Gaga has looked the happiest she has in years, she's making some of her best ever music, she talks about how much she loves Michael, he hasn't stopped her from working in any capacity and encourages her. Taylor Swift's ex was also playing a part in the songwriting of two of her albums under a pen-name and her fans rightfully thought that was sweet and while they eventually broke up, they stayed together for 3 years after this happened. Most abusive men don't want their woman going anywhere or doing anything outside him. I've never seen Michael force his way into the spotlight and while he may be contributing to her career, he's doing so behind the scenes, which seems genuine. I have seen abusive celebrity relationships and this really doesn't seem like one. She is maybe like many of us, especially us women, in that she could be willing to make compromises she otherwise might not have for love. “I’m a loser in love…” But to say she’s being manipulated is just…insulting to her and her independence. She’s not a baby, nor is she a young woman trying to break through in an industry that is preying on her naïveté. She’s been at this for a long time. ultimately she is objectively the happiest and healthiest, physically and mentally, she has ever been, and it’s led to a renaissance in her career. I don’t know what else people want. i think we get so overprotective because we've seen so many divas thru out time be controlled by their boyfriends, husbands and fathers behind the scenes and many times the diva won't realize it til it's too late and theyre left penniless and broken and sometimes the mixing of their personal and business relationships works out great and the man becomes her biggest advocate in the industry, being able to score huge gigs and contracts for them, but those relationships seem to be rare in Hollywood
TheMontebello 484
People are crazy. I've seen fans saying Gaga is in a controlling and abusive relationship and he is in complete control of her career, all because he suggested that (SHOCKER!) she should release a pop album. You like the fat girl I got in me 🍕
JoeCool 371
it's been said before but I think some might just not like him for how much he's worth and his ties to the tech industry. He seems a private person as well which can rub some the wrong way. Edited 4 hours ago by JoeCool
BrandyFinest 2
Some have said it is Sapphic monsters doing it out of jealousy but honestly? Not really, I have seen them be nothing but supportive of Micheal. I think people really want this scenario of Gaga being abused by Micheal so that they can save her through a Britney like campaign or some **** like that
