This project is too good to not release another single or two.  Honestly, there are potential mega hits on this album (besides DWAS).  It’d be shocking and such a letdown if they let it stall.

I think that bec they decided to do the tour starting this year... the next single is postponed. Maybe next month or before the Grammy deadline on Aug 30.

There's no mega hits left.

The album is out. Outside of an unexpected tiktok trend going viral with an album cut, no song will have a massive surge needed to make a hit. 

Post-album release singles are dead on arrival these days. Spotify algorithims killed them off.

honestly, i think something new is much more likely.

Unless zombieboy really picks up and has a big resurgence it will flop badly, even with wednesday help IMO.

For some numbers 

Zombieboy today did 166K worldwide, and the numbers on the US are much worse than that, making a song like this a single is insane and they will never do it.

And the same goes for every other album track, HBDUWM is doing the best at 356K globally and that's just not enough...

Y'all can forget any new single from the album tracks and start joining my deluxe delulu if you want something new.

I don't think it'd flop badly...Zombieboy is relatively popular, and from the reactions I've seen, it's one of the most well-liked songs on the album. If they play into the whole Wednesday/Halloween angle, I could see it become a hit. Also, the music video potential is insane

And honestly, the people needed to make a Wednesday tie in single will just hate on any song that gets inserted into the show if it is at all similar to the OG scene. 

Nothing flops harder than the industry trying to force a trend.

It will sis  the zombieboy numbers are awful and in 3 months they will be even worse.

Like I said, unless something big happens to make the song grow I highly doubt they are betting on it.

I mean, could you not say that about every other song on the album? 3 months from now—unless something big happens—all the songs will have worse numbers. Even VIY and HBDUM would struggle with no promo. At least Zombieboy would be topical if she decides to do something with it for fall/Halloween.
