That was so cringe. He had other flop moments where he tried way too hard and just embarrased himself

overall thankful for the liberal win, especially considering how things were looking at the start of the year

but really dissapointed that BC got so many blue seats cause of the split left vote. i can understand cause a lot of BC was NDP in the last election so some people wanted to vote strategic and secure that conservatives didn't gain a seat, but then ig some people wanted to secure a liberal seat to ensure that conservatives didn't win the whole election, but looking at the map and seeing most of BC be blue was really shocking.

on the other hand i'm happy quebec turned out for the liberals. especially with carney's horrible french i thought quebec was staying bloc but there's a fair amount of red

i'm upset at how blue the golden horseshoe turned out. like economy said, most toronto and mississauga ridings were red but everything else around was blue. i was really holding out for niagara south and stoney creek but it was actually really tight with liberals and conservatives being in the mid 40% for both. but like brampton and GTA having the same 50% conservative to 40% liberal ratio that the rest of ontario had was scary.

goodnight y'all

hard to even fathom which parts you should believe

There's an emerging trend in the West post Trump's election where Maga allies are losing steam and hitting support ceilings.

(For now at least... I really hope this loss signals to the conservatives that the Maple MAGA freedom convoy bs ain't it, but I imagine they'll just double down and try again :enigma:)

Jagmeet needs to go Im sorry. He sounds very uninspiring when he speaks. He does have progressive policies but he has 0 skills in moving anybody :toofunny:

I do wonder if some ppl have my reservations too though. Normally id be very pro left wing economics but given current circumstances (competing with an economy that has gone bananas in cutting corporate and business taxes). It does put Canada in an awkard position where if we try to raise taxes on rich and Corporations we may loose even more investment to the US

Its not ideal but thats the situation the US created. If more ppl have my concerns thats not helping the NDP either and its well known Canada has been having a major investment problem

Honestly, I think the shift to the center here is likely due to Trump being a central issue in this election. Without these circumstances it would be different I feel, such as more people going for the Quebec and NDR as usual.
