I hope it will be a thing with Europe dates too. Artist can say they don't allow it, yes. Why she allowed it? It's a mystery, just the way of why she decided to aligned with big pharma. darkgaga 4,210
Why are the tickets in the USA so much more expensive than Europe? I have golden circle for 202 euros, and for the CBT it was 170 I think 1
vmpiregrn 558
I legitimately feel like scalpers on previous tours were charging nowhere ****ing near these prices. This dynamic pricing bullshit is just built-in scalping. It’s honestly absurd and I pray Gaga’s team is seeing our complaints and actually taking them into consideration for tours in the future (doubtful). Artists generally do have the capability to turn dynamic pricing off — Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran did it. Now maybe there’s something in some contract that tied her and her team’s hands with regards to turning it off but on the outside it really doesn’t look good. Besides, she’s Lady Gaga — surely if the use of dynamic pricing were in a contract she’d have the sway to negotiate out of it. As long as they can profit from it and as long as there are people willing to pay these prices, they won’t care about any complaints. Unless the fans collectively stop buying tickets, or unless our governments actually care about protecting consumers, nothing will change sadly.

Gaga always made a point of wanting her shows to be in some way accessible and this just really feels like a lapse in that. I know she’s a businesswoman at the end of the day, and I shouldn’t be so starry-eyed and put her on a pedestal, but…****, man.
elegidadedios 1,233
I don't know what to say. From what I am reading I just don't think I can't even get seated tickets on the most far away tier, unless I want to pay 500€ for it which would be a nightmare right now. I would feel really bad to do so. I organized a net of 5 people for tomorrow's general sale and I don't know man, at this point if it's not golden/general pit I don't care I just want two tickets and not having to pay for them 900-1000€. I feel so isolated. Why am I tearing down a bit... Again Edited Wednesday at 10:49 PM by elegidadedios 1

I genuinely think she doesn't care enough to do something about it / is not involved in those details as we all tend to think. Which sucks, but it is what it is 2 1
djBuffoon 12,053
I knew it would be more difficult than usual to get tickets, but I didn't expect pricing to be the primary issue. I've never had a problem putting up a few hundred dollars for what would amount to a worthwhile view, but to ask $400 for nosebleed seats is insulting. Very disappointed in Gaga for not electing against dynamic pricing.
hamartia 520
It's definitely tainted Mayhem for me To have the whole press tour talking about the fans and going back to her roots, etc. and then to do the most A-list Hollywood busineswoman bs is like... Auro 1,828 Posted yesterday at 12:46 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:46 AM I wish the queue had live chat while you waited cause I keep checking in hopes that we'll get more seats released and there's usually another person or two also searching for crumbs, and I wanna say hi to them He/They
hELXIG 42,382 Posted yesterday at 12:56 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:56 AM (edited) Buying tickets has become a f.ucking mess the past 10 years, and at a hugely increasing rate the past few years. Nothing about Ticketmaster is user friendly, you have no idea what you're in for or what you need to click before you actually get in so you have to RUSH to fill out filters, so you can't compare pricings, seating area, anything, even though these days there are f.ucking 500 different ticket types for every event now. The website glitches, I've heard of other people getting kicked from queues, the queuing system seems very random with people connecting at the same time getting totally different place and times (like it's actually just all bullshit to pretend they're being fair when it's just random). On top of that ticket prices are INSANE and don't get me started on the dynamic ticket pricing which is literally just for them to extort more money out of us. Scalpers are worse than ever even though they now only allow you to buy a few seats at a time.. which basically just means scalpers still buy the tickets up but if you're going in a group you can't sit together. It actually makes me infuriated Ticketmaster needs to get their sh.it together. Except they really don't even care because they make the money either way so why would they put effort into making it more fair and streamlined for people if they don't have to Edit: also no matter how much we complain and ask for change it won't help. We need artists to step the f.uck up and advocate for their fans' sake Edited yesterday at 12:58 AM by hELXIG I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. 2 1

2School4Cool 6,394 Posted yesterday at 01:28 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:28 AM I had a very similar experience for Chicago Night 1. The presale ended before I even had a chance to look at the tickets. I’m telling you, look at seatgeek!! I ended up getting my tickets through there when the ticketmaster presale failed. Keeo 364 Posted yesterday at 01:33 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:33 AM (edited) I feel torn having bought a ticket for 700 with fees and taxes since my sister can't go with and now I'm thinking that maybe if I'd waited or dug a little deeper into my savings, I might have been able to find a way for both of us to go. She told me to go ahead and didn't seem disappointed, but she was the one person I wanted to experience this with and the prices made me choose. and I feel like I chose selfishly. There is no reason for these prices to be that high, but I just gave them a reason I guess, Edited yesterday at 01:34 AM by Keeo
