Donald Trump is Currently the Oldest Presidential Nominee in US History

Donald Trump is the oldest presidential nominee in history following Joe Biden leaving the race. This means that Joe Biden is the only nominee intended to make it to election day as a major player that is this old. With the likelihood of Kamala Harris or at least someone younger than Trump being the Democratic nominee, it looks as though this fact will remain until at least the 2028 race.

While not criticized as much as Bidens age, there were still some concerns with Trump currently being 78. Just like Biden, Trump would be ineligible for several major jobs due to be considered too old.

Which is likely a result of his said age?? It’s not like they’re uncommonly associated with one another and it’s a fact your mental state typically decreases with age. We just need an age limit on the presidency eligibility. It’s not ageist, it’s a matter of fact and capability

Age was never the issue, it was the fact that Biden presented himself as a sneeze away from death at that debate. Trump did not even give that good of a debate performance but compared to Biden he seemed like a spring chicken even though he spent most of the time telling lies

Trump is also not mentally well. He's had plenty of gaffes, it's just that the media is not going to cover it. They've already covered Trump for 8 years and anything he does or says now is just like "Well, but that's Trump. It's bad but it's not anything out of the ordinary." It's like, when he's as bad as he is, it almost makes his declining mental acuity look like something normal for him.

Age could possibly effect your mental state, but most old people wont have issues. Treating all old people as potentially being senile and not allowing them to serve is agist in my opinion. Bernie Sanders is 82 and I would vote for him over any young progressive.

Trump gaffes are not because hes senile, its because hes a liar and loves to make up things. He has mental issues that makes him a liar narcissist, but I wouldnt call him senile.
