ImAnEnigma26 153 Posted April 12 Share Posted April 12 (edited) Hello everyone, After having watched the Joker 2 trailer, I think it is highly likely for this movie to break records and win many awards. For one, the idea of a dark psychological thriller-romance-drama-action-musical is very innovative, unique, and intriguing. I think that with the collective state of insanity, self-destruction, and pain our world is in, this movie is really going to strike a chord with people from all walks of life. Also, the first movie garnered a huge fan-base. Just imagine that fanbase mixed with Gaga fans and probably a bunch of other people who are intrigued by the trailer- it's going to destroy box office. Joker 2 is also going to put D.C. comic nerds, girly-pop gays, and emo kids in the same room. What a f*cking dope ass mix. Only a movie starring Gaga could do that. Anyways, I fall more in love with the trailer every time I watch it and I am on the edge of my seat waiting for October. Also, just imagine the LOOKS Gaga is going to pull out for awards season. He knows that with Phoenix and Gaga, he can still do something wonderful and magical and real about Joker's story here..and now Harley's story too. Joaquin didnt really want a part 2 for this Joker movie, but he liked the vision and trusted both Todd and Gaga. Gaga accepted this role because of the same reasons...plus it talks about mental health which she is advocating all the time. The Teaser Trailer is already critically acclaimed...what more if we see the art that is the film. I think Gaga as Harley will make us truly hate her...but also truly relate to her. I think that we are gonna cry when we see her performance here On a non serious note...imagine the HarleyGaga costumes in Halloween. Expect some weird but working chemistry between the two leads during the press tour. i want Hot Ones interview for Gaga, Round table, Actor on actor, those late night talk shows.
