Watched Smile 2 and it was top notch! So creepy my gosh! And the ending

I watched Smile 2 (which I'v been soooo excited for because I think the first one is one of the best horror movies ever made)

 

it was a great movie!!! Jesus there were some jumpscares in there... holy moly And Naomi was fucking amazing, I really wish to see her in more projects now! And she is drop dead gorgeous

 

actually Gaga’s song „Die with a smile“ would’ve been the perfect promo for this movie lol

I'm at a horror convention tomorrow where I'll be meeting Lin Shaye, Shawnee Smith, the two female leads from Terrifier 1, and two of the victims from Terrifier 3 (shower guy and rat girl)

And the face shots of the demon in the freezer sequence were some of the scariest visuals I’ve seen in horror in a long time. They managed to reimagine the creature into something truly grotesque and something I haven’t seen in movies in a while. I’ve watched quite a bit of horror and it started to feel like the face design of the horror villains was getting a bit stale, but this brought something very new and frightening to the screen. 

 

I also absolutely loved it! I was scared that I’d be disappointed cuz I loved the first one so much but they’re actually equally good! And Naomi Scott was fucking fantastic in this! I really hope we get to see her in more movies now

Never Let Go starring Halle Berry was good, I liked it a lot. I love the use of sound in the movie. I do like the "lore" of it. A family of 3, with Halle Berry's character as the mom and she has 2 kids and they live in the forest all alone because "evil" has taken over everything and it comes in many forms and appearances. As long as you are tied to the rope, which is connected to the house, evil can never touch you. But you have to watch the movie because there is more to it.

 

Now, sadly I have to talk about Bagman. It says on the poster "From the Studio that brought you.. The Strangers - Chapter 1" like its something to be proud of. That description fully encapsulates how I feel about this movie in every sense. The 2nd horror movie this year that I watched with a "Bag" on the title. Now, Baghead starring the actress who plays Princess Cirila on Witcher I would like a sequel to that. This movie alludes to there being a sequel, and I hope there isnt. But I guess if nobody stopped the Saw franchise movies whether it was good or bad to reach Saw X and Spiral then nothing is stopping a sequel from this mess. Bagman is such a cringey movie, the whole plot is basically this villain or creature who takes good kids because he collects them but somehow the power of love is the key to defeating this "monster" is so corny. With a poster of a puppet in a bag you think this was some Child's Play, Dead Silence, Annabelle type of movie. Its not. Also, spoiler but theres a funny scene where the main character revisits his childhood drawings when he was 9 or 10, and he pulls up the usual crayon type of dark drawing done by a child except it looked like a 2 year old baby doodled on the paper. I laughed. Save yourself, skip this one.

I watched Heretic & it’s so bad omg

i was excited for it & it was so boring… same with „strange darling“ - I still dont get what the point was lol

 

Next I wanna see „Maxxine“ I hope that ones better

I just got out from watching Nosferatu and..

It was so boring.  I think I hyped myself up too much because it was getting such good reviews and I was really looking forward to it, but now I’m seeing lots of mixed reviews from other people also saying it was boring and slow, etc. The connection between Ellen and Count Orlock could’ve been developed more.
