Xander 8
ON a google search, I found a twitter account named gagasmokingweed. https://twitter.com/gagasmokingweed Their name on twitter is pause up. Nothing weird until now. But I checked the joined date with http://www.whendidyoujointwitter.com/ and it was 2 November 2011. Back then we didn't know this whole weed theme, and ARTPOP related. So, when she wrote DITD, she already had this ARTPOP-weed concept. All this can be linked. :excited2:

gagafrontrow 267
As a cat, I know a thing or two about paws. It *could* be "Paws Up" because that expression was already used in one of the interludes for the theatre version of the Monster Ball, which must have been prepared well before November 27, 2009. However, "paws up" must not be confused with the "monster claw", which came to be some time after the Monster Ball in Boston in December 2009, at which time she first saw a fan do the claw, which later gave her the idea to make it the international symbol for little monsters. You guys shouldn't confuse paws with claw... Meow! P.S. But it could be "pause" too. Or something else... www.gagafrontrow.com

Guest
Yes. She says put your paws up. Dance in the Dark was the prequel to Born This Way and Marry the Night. Dance In The Dark samples Careless Whisper by George Michael, a closeted gay man who had s-x with men in bathroom stalls. Lady Gaga is talking about a person who only feels free in the dark. "find your freedom in the music, find your Jesus (Christ) find your (Stanley) Kubrick" She was giving us Born This Way and Marry The Night. But it wasn't a single because she wasn't secure enough in herself yet to show us the message. Born This Way era was different. "You were brave for me (Little Monsters), now I'm going to be brave for you." She told us her philosophy and psychology of life and existence in Born This Way. I think Dance in the Dark fades out because she's was telling us it's she's not done yet. DITD, MARRY THE NIGHT, BORN THIS WAY, and SCHEIßE carry this message, in my opinion. Well, that's my spiel! -Anonymous
Guest
She's also panting and moaning to simulate orgasm noise because its about having s-x in the dark. Some people only have s-x in the dark.
