This may be due to the fact that Im from Puerto Rico, but I really really do not get why his music has gone global. I see his fans defend his music like he is Beethoven's second coming. Im so used to reggaeton and rap music being around me, all the time, I fail to see why he is so innovative. No hate, but yeah...

Same. I'm Indonesian and I have never heard his songs til this day. And I have so many questions like; Is he a global superstar with audiences from all over the world? But like what is his target audience? Is it Latinos, or Americans, or both? Like I'm sorry for my ignorance but I just don't get the hype (I live under the rock, I know)

This may shock you but some of us ARE both, including Bad Bunny. We are Latinos and Americans.

I agree, as seeing more Puerto Rican representation in America is very important to me. When I was young I dissassociated with my culture (I'm 2nd generation PR) as wanting to fit in more into 'Western' society. But seeing this let's me embrace this new era of feeling connected with my roots in a modern way.

With Beyonce, both benefited from the collab. Gaga had a lot of attention at the time, and Beyonce was in her third solo album cycle, I believe. It helped both their careers.

With Ariana, both benefited from the collab. Everyone was so excited about it, it gave both another number one. And the whole collab seemed meant to be, since both had gone through very public events of grief. It didnt seem to me like an act of seeking attention.

With Blackpink, I feel like both benefited as well. Working with Gaga would further help introduce them to the American audience. Not that they needed any help, they were doing great. But yeah. Both the music style of Blackpink and Gaga matched at the time, and seemed like a logical collab for both.

With Bad Bunny, I really feel like it would be an act of desperation because, considering the style of music that Bad puts out, it definitely does not match what Gaga has been doing with her career. Read the lyrics of his songs and you will see what I mean.

just like she collaborated with blackpink who are korean, bb would be a great collab and would def get her a lot of streams and bad bunny would collab with one of his fave artists
