If you delve in a bit deeper, you can tell each song still holds some of the original industrial coating.

“Original industrial coating” sister, the industrial sound wasn’t the original sound. That being said, the instrumentals are all incredible.

Didn't Gaga state the album was a lot more industrial sounding?

She said she almost made it fit the sound of Perfect Celebrity 'cause she was insecure about the sound or something but Michael talked her out of it

No, she said the opposite. VIY was the first song she wrote for the album and she said she arrived at the industrial sound towards the end of the process when she wrote PC, considered reworking the prior material in an industrial vein, Michael said he didn’t think it was a good idea, she agreed.

No, but Perfect Celebrity was so good she was tempted to change the album to fit its sound. Reminder that Vanish Into You was one of the first tracks she wrote.

These are hands down some of the best instrumentals and the most phenomenal production of the music in her career!

I know Don't Call Tonight gets a mixed reaction from the fanbase- but the instrumentals for that song are top tier and hold a lot of emotion! Every song on the album does... but I really love the instrumental for DCT

The LoveDrug instrumentals are what make the song not just a simple pop song. The lyrics I know may seem less intricate than what we expect from her, but I think it is on purpose so we give love to the music behind the lyrics

The riser before the bridge on zombieboy made me realise how lush and thoughtful the production on this record is

I have such a love and appreciation from this album and genuinely think it clears all her other albums. It feels entirely Gaga and everything she was and has been.

The vocal training from being a jazz vocalist, the pop melodies and songwriting, the influences from all the artists she grew up with, the music she listens to now, it’s theatrical, it feels dance and disco as well. It’s everything to me.

I also wanna point out that as much as we don’t love it, it’s so c*nt to me for her to make a song like HBDUWM to show she can make modern pop music like all the girlies after her. And then making Abracadabra as well to show her fans she’s “still got it” like she did back in the day to make hard dance music with amazing melodies, a memorable video, choreography etc

also this TikTok proves that DWAS absolutely fits into the album track list perfectly sonically

I love the GOE instrumental so much, that harp sound/ harp-like synth sounds so beautiful, it’s not the first thing you hear listening to the song on the surface, you gotta pay attention to the production

the PC instrumental feels almost nostalgic… oh Notorious Being:diane:
