Better Album: TFM vs MAYHEM

Set your favoritism aside and tell us objectively: which is the better album?

I think objectively it has to be Mayhem. 

Like both have issues with track list sequencing imo, partly because of the variety of genres across the tracks. 
Both have really high highs with no real lows tbh as well. 

But Mayhem's midpoints edge out TFM's midpoints.

So interesting, I have a friend who is not a GAGA fan, listened to both TFM and Mayhem, and they found TFM more interesting. Yes, they said MAYHEM is way better produced, but the rawness in TFM is what the concept of "GAGA" screams. I kinda agree.

See, maybe it's just exposure to everything Gaga, but I wouldn't really call TFM raw. 
It's one of her most polished albums and all the personal topics it covers it does them in a way that feels like it distills her anger/emotion out.

I myself find HBDUWM a bit terrible but MAYHEM needed a bubblegum pop song so she can stay

TFM...

MAYHEM felt like a dark ARTPOP with too many sounds thrown together and not enough cohesion. The MAYHEM should've been in the lyrical content...not the continuous jarring shift in musical genres

The Fame Monster has the advantage that it's only 8 tracks long and with a very solid concept that is a great listen from start to finish. They're all great but I do love more on Mayhem because it's obviously more music. Even if it were the same amount (Disease, Abracadabra, Garden of Eden, Perfect Celebrity, Vanish Into You, Killah, Zombieboy, Die With A Smile) I probably would still pick Mayhem but Bad Romance, Dance In The Dark, Alejandro and Speechless carry that album HARD and they're some of her best ever.
