Blackout19 13,428
mine: - Bad Romance is overrated (this was specially for you, @NUTELLA) - So Happy I Could Die is the best song on the album - Monster should have been a single - Teeth is underrated i am a free woman. ○● 3
NUTELLA 16,430
1) The singles should have been Bad Romance, Alejandro & Dance In The Dark 2) Not “unpopular,” but a tough pill for some people to swallow: she could put out 30 more albums in the future, but nothing will ever de-throne Bad Romance. Abracadabra didn’t do it. No new song from her will ever do it 3) Sometimes I wonder if the tracklist should have opened with DITD & closed with BR. The “dih-dih-dih-dih”s are so atmospheric, & there is something timeless/sophisticated about the synth that starts at 0:16. Then ending the record on the BR high… food for thought… 4) Telephone MV is overrated 4
NUTELLA 16,430
5) It becomes grating after a while, but she had balls putting a bizarre song like Teeth on her second album. That instrumental loop with her warped, slithery vocal is so catchy. The intro gives “riding a camel in the desert, wearing nothing but heels & a wig” 6) Monster has some flaws, but I nearly nut in my pants the first time I heard “evil eyes, evuhhhllllll” 7) Speechless remains her best piano ballad, but I prefer the acapella version. She could have released that song without a single instrument & made just as much impact, if not more 1 1
NUTELLA 16,430
Just now, NUTELLA said: I nearly nut in my pants When it’s used as a verb, is the past tense of “nut” “nut” or “nutted” ?
Gerrard174 699
On hindsight, gald that Dance in the Dark wasnt made a single. The song didnt age well. Monster, So Happy I could Die, Alejandro remain the best songs from the EP 1

Starmie25 20,520
SHICD is the best song from the album. 3
River 120,944
1. I kind of prefer the demo of BR over the album version because it's less noisy, but at the same time the di-di-di-di is iconic. 2. Alejandro MV is long for the sake of being long, most of it could have been cut. 3. Teeth should have been kept in the vault or burnt. 4. TFM is a 7 songs album for me. 5. SHICD should have been a single, it's one of her most dreamy and nostalgic song, it's so beautiful, I never understood the hate tbh... but yet, it will alwyas remind me Pocketful of Sunshine lol 6. Monster is pretty genetic overall. 7. I feel like we never cracked all the secrets in DITD... So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

dynamite 62,602
I've never cared much for SHICD - listened to it maybe 5 times in my life (idk if this is unpopular) The Bad Romance video is very good but it's never been the holy grail of videos that most make it out to be Edited January 13 by dynamite Like a poem said by a neydy in red
Oriane 21,665
It's nowhere near the top of her discography Bad Romance is not a good opener, DITD would have been better with that intro. Alejandro is overrated and these Ale-Alejandro Ale-Alejandro are sooooo long. Telephone is one of her worst songs. Speechless has some of her best lyrics she ever wrote. SHICD has one of her best choruses. The eh eh eh eh ah ah ah ah are annoying though, and they specifically sound like something French kids would do around that period to do a sarcastic laugh, and this annoys me even more. Teeth is one of her best songs, and to this day I don't think I've ever heard anything that sounds like it. It's amazing when she does it live too, so rock. Lizzie 81
Teeth is a boring and repetitive song, the only skip on the album you're on your own kid, yeah you can face this!
qoqo 4,030
the “every song represents a fear” thing is totally forced and it kind of ruined Telephone’s reputation (it’s a perfect pop song) BR (and its mv) has its status not because its her best song musically (or best mv) but because of its cultural moment (musically its still in like the top 15) DITD is cheesy and cliché and i never liked it Alejandro’s production aged horribly SHICD and Speechless are career highlights, Monster would’ve been too if it wasn’t for the lazy chorus Teeth is cute but it shouldn’t have closed the album in general, the tracklisting is a mess
