Love blizzard games, I'm sure they'll only improve under Microsoft.

Not bothered particularly about the monopilisation, anything to make Sony fan boys seethe is fine by me.

Meh, all of those games although popular don't do it for me anymore.
Sony will always be safe with the talent their exclusive studios have.

Besides the fact that Mojang (Minecraft) and Activision Blizzard are two very different companies with very different products. Microsoft already made it clear with Bethesda that all future games will be exclusive to their platforms.

I'm definitely no fan of console exclusivity, but the fact that, thus far, they've given the companies free creative reign is a good sign.

It's also a pro as much as a con, as some titles lost Playstation access but gained PC/Windows access. Sony is just going to have to step up their game -- their exclusives have always paled in comparison to Xbox, with the two of them massively behind Nintendo, IMO.

They're buying them to make the games available on Game Pass for $15 a month. Not bad news at all, although I don't have Game Pass because I prefer to own my games.

I pay 11€/month + a 60€ expansion every 2 years to play just WoW. 15€/month to play WoW + all those games, and never buy an expansion ever again would be great.

Although I'm afraid this will be yet another company that Microsoft will delete, like Nokia, MSN and Skype, among others. In the end, I think only their most economically valuable game will remain: Candy Crush.

Minecraft literally got better when MS bought it so idk why you’re worried… I mean the monopoly is a big oof but your fave games should be fine

I think Minecraft has only survived so long because of its community, and being so widely spread across platforms, easily accessible to kids and casual players. I don't think Microsoft has done much for it tbh, Minecraft is like Microsoft's Candy Crush, but now they have 2 of those.

Phantomhive

I know he wasn't the only rotten person in the company but at least Kotick will be gone as soon as this thing's done.

If MS can save even the tiniest bit of Reforged after Actiblizz butchered it or better yet redo the whole thing, I'm all for it. Also maybe they'll do something with Starcraft and HOTS in the future. MS has treated the AOE franchise pretty well despite rts not being so lucrative anymore so I have some hope.

Overall, that's all I care about tbh. I only follow WoW for the lore and it's not like their shite writing team particularly Steve Danuser's creepy ass will get replaced after this so :emma:

I mean PS has some really strong IP though. God of War, Horizon,  Gran Turismo, and Ratchet and Clank. Although Horizon is still pretty new. The only strong exclusive I know of for Xbox is Halo. Nintendo does have really strong IP though, it's ridiculous the loyal fanbase they have and how just about nobody ever let's go of their copies of their games.

Microsoft's deep pockets have definitely hastened development on updates as well as bugfixing. And probably allowed for more ports as well.
