Who is the Hardest Working Pop Star?

Gaga obviously, but also Lana (consistently releases albums every 1-2 years) and, even though I'm not keen on them, Taylor (albums every 2 years plus her recent slew of 'from the vault' releases), Ed (solo albums, a collab album, soundtrack work, writes for other artists) and Beyonce (solo and collab work at least every 2 years plus music videos for every song since 2013). Whatever you think of their music, it's undeniable that they're always putting out something to keep their name out there in between albums, whether it's stand-alone singles, collabs on others singers albums, remixes, bonus material and so on.

Gaga is the only correct answer. All the rest of the girls get their rest from time to time but Gaga did everything non-stop from 2008-2013 she even had some physical and mental consequences. And she did it all for us :diane:

It's not like she stopped in 2013 either.

2014: G.U.Y. video, multiple TV and radio appearances, Roseland residency, the artRAVE, Cheek to Cheek, and she started the Cheek to Cheek Tour

2015: Finished the Cheek to Cheek Tour, went on her "PR revival" with covers everywhere (the most notable would be the Sound of Music medley), AHS: Hotel, the Hunting Ground documentary and TIHTY, and her pro-women work with Biden

2016: Perfect Illusion and Million Reasons videos, Joanne, the Dive Bar shows, her political campaigning for Hillary, and again, multiple TV and radio appearances

2017: John Wayne video, the Halftime Show, Coachella, The Cure, and started the Joanne Tour

2018: Ended the JWT prematurely :messga:, A Star Is Born, the awards circuit for ASIB, and started the Enigma residency

2019: Probably her chillest year since she broke her hip. The MET Gala is the only major thing I can think of but she was still performing at Enigma and the Jazz show throughout the year.

2020: The SSN show (that I got to go to ), SL, ROM, and 911 videos, Chromatica, Haus Labs and brand deal promos (y'all may hate it but it counts as work).

2021: So far, we have three major projects to look forward to. Chromatica remix, Love For Sale, and the Gucci film. A few more rumored projects too.

Had it not been for covid, 2020 and 2021 would have been her busiest era since BTW. And this is all just what we see, you have to imagine there's at least ten times as much work being done behind the scenes for each one of these events or projects, if not more.

Anyone who calls her lazy is an idiot, to be frank  the woman works her ass off for everything she has and she'll continue to work her ass off until they lower her casket.

Billionaires are a cancer. Even the ones you like.

Kylie Minogue: She didn’t stop working even after her illness. A true hardworking showgirl. She always delivers bobs and spectacular tours.

Beyoncé:

Takes the time another singer does to record a generic album to record a pioneering album and film an accompanying visual album, while also being a mom of 3.

Taylor Swift:

Is on track for releasing 4 albums in about a year and a half, probably 6 albums in 2 years, while also being a mom of 3 cats.

Gaga:

Acting, music, touring ... Obvious hard work there, while also being a mother monster.

Madonna:

Nothing else to say really, she's been at it for decades, while also being the mother to literally every pop girl out there. EDIT: She injured her leg at the start of her last tour and basically damaged her leg even more by performing every night while in pain and against her doctor's orders to avoid cancelling the tour (which only cancelled the final dates due to miss rona)

Mariah Carey:

1990s: rerecorded her songs with up to 6 different vocal takes for the remixes, released an album every other year, had at least one #1 single for every year of the decade (11 years in a row).

2020s: Wrote a memoir, made her christmas special (and album), organised and promoted the rerelease of her entire discography on vinyl, and the uploading of all 200 of her remixes to streaming, released an album of unreleased (and in some cases unfinished tracks), is working on a new album, is working on another christmas special ... All in the span of two years, while also being a mom of 2.

Clearly Vitamin C:
"MTV News interviewed Vitamin C in 2006 where she revealed details on a comeback, with two new albums; "Just because you're not always on MTV doesn't mean you're not actively working"

15 years in the making we're gonna get FED:enigma:
