PartySick 160,209
Good god yes. Both she and I have grown up since then though. Now I simply respect her as an artist and as a person which is healthier imo. Billionaires are a cancer. Even the ones you like.
Prostitute Barbie 4,077
Yes I had been aware of her since summer ‘08 but after TFM came out I was totally obsessed. BTW was probably the height of that for me and ARTPOP wasn’t much different. After ARTPOP I still loved her but she changed and it was just never the same again. But I’m okay with that and will still be around for years to come to see what my favorite singer does next

SevenWonder 4,356
During ARTPOP I was annoying. Really, really annoying. To all my friends.

Oriane 21,063
I became a fan in 2010. But I really became obsessed in 2013 with ARTPOP, and it lasted until around 2017-2018 I would say. socotra 3,310
TF through ARTPOP. AP got me thru a tough part of my life. I’ve been less interested from Joanne onwards, but she’s still hands down my favorite artist and someone whose music I’ll always follow. My music taste has just expanded far past pop music. artdoll 46,367
admittedly I had always been a fan of hers since 2008 but never really looked too much into her but during late 2019 and all throughout quarantine I decided to revisit a lot of gaga's works and ended up being obsessed with each album (especially ARTPOP, everything about it was SO fascinating to me and still is to this day I went hardcore for ARTPOP) for a period of 2-3 months and looked up all the info on them and thinking back on any album makes me nostalgic for a moment that I did not experience, I've watched so many interviews, performances, behind the scenes videos, listened to unreleased tracks, read many articles, etc. that in a way I feel like I lived through those eras entirely even though I was more of a casual fan during those time periods 。゚☁ glued up, sometimes it's too much ☁ ゚。
Mother of Puppies 36,435
I have always listened to her music from the minute she released Just Dance and The Fame... I listened to everything until ARTPOP... after that when she started doing jazz I lost interest and forgot about her music (until she released "The Cure" - I loved it) but somehow I didn't know about "Joanne".... I wasn't really a fan of her persona. During the Fame I found her interviews strange so I wasn't that engaged. I just read a few things here and there and I remember the whole "Gaga has a penis" storyline after that performance. lol Last year, before Chromatica came out, I was watching some "celebrity dance show" and they danced to "Telephone" with the original choreo and I was like: OMG I forgot how much I loved that song and Gaga's music videos cuz she was and is one of the few artists that always danced in her music videos (just like MJ used to) So I started watching all her old music videos and then started listening to all her old records after like 8-10 years and I had major flashbacks... a few weeks later when Chromatica came out I was blown away by that album and then I watched "Five Foot Two" and I was a bit "obsessed"... I was shocked by the fact that she was so honest ond open... so after that I watched pretty much every interview/performance etc. I could find and at the beginning of this year I joined ggd and well.. here I am THEY CALL ME LADY MOP
dove 532
I was a big stan during the fame-beginning of ARTPOP eras. I did everything you described and also ran a tumblr about her, made gifs about her, edited photos (at least something good came out of it bc I learned to use photoshop lol) It was fun though bc every event or live performance or red carpet was a chance to gif her! she was basically in my mind 24/7 and I think I watched every youtube video about her on earth lol. Also before keeping up with her through tumblr or gagadaily I googled her and searched in the "news" section and read until like page 10+. My peak of "stannism" was during the BTW era definitely, then during the ARTPOP I just started to just keep up with major appearances and nothing more. Then fell in love with her again after that sound of music medley (god that performance really put her back on top) but now I barely listen to her songs, I basically just keep up with her live performances or projects bc they are exciting. I also love when shes makes headlines of whatever, or when she wows a crowd with her singing voice, etc. I just love seeing her on top which is why I think I enjoyed the AISB era so much even though I barely listen to any of her music anymore and I think I reached a point where I wont ever stop rooting for her or suporting her only that without being a hardcore stan as I once was. Guest
I think we all unconsciously come here to know what will be her next move. Because we still feel the need to be fed by our queen.
Wet Fire 7,502
Peak in 2011-2015 Then went to college and had to stay away from the internet for long periods of time lol I mean I'm still obsessed but since I grew up a bit I'm not obscenely, unhealthily, joblessly obsessed as I was back in the day. P.S. I failed an exam in 2016 because I couldn't concentrate on studies for 3 days when Perfect Illusion came out. It was an earworm and was driving me nuts. The chorus playing in my head all the time. P.S.2. I failed another exam in 2014 because I stayed up all night without studying waiting for the G.U.Y. music video. It was worth it. P.S.3. I was kinda bordering on unhealthy obsession duri g the ASIB era because there were interviews, red carpets all the time. But I somehow managed to not **** up my studies. JazmineRice 835
Instantly obsessed when I saw the Bad Romance music video that one November day of the year of its release (2009?-10?). I looked up everything about her and all the posts of her in between flights and hotels and performances. I used to post her Japan outfits and her Bloody Mary BTWB outfits on my IG (when I had IG). My obsession became less intense with the receiving of ARTPOP, but I've always been and always will be a little monster.
Bling 31,386
I've gone through phases since 2008/9 but I remember (and I've told this story here before) this 18+ club had a gay night and I knew the DJ there. He would play a Megamix of The Fame and one night it was like 3a and I was the only one on the dancefloor, twirling (and stumbling) and living my best gay life singing every word. I remember listening to some of Red and Blue (i think) and Fancy Pants era stuff. Started watching live performances as they came out. I mostly was just about the music and videos (and concert) up until BTW and she replaced Madonna as my ultimate Queen. It felt so amazing having an international pop star (and at the time, the biggest in the world) put her career on the line to dedicate a song and album to her LGBTQ+ fans. I remember finding GGD around TFM days and found the BTW snippets here slowly started watching more interviews and content outside of just music videos. ARTPOP era I was full on superfan, listening to more unreleased tracks and tracking what she was doing up until the album was announced. Swinefest stream live was a MOMENT! Obviously tracked her thru AHS (C2C I completely ignored and didn't Stan until after Joanne ) pre Joanne was when I was really in the thick of, I'd say, obsession. LG5 Anticipation/Joannticipation thread. I was watching interviews, live performances, anything I could get my grubby LM hands on. Then Joanne happened and I felt cheated at first but then I saw the light Still checked this cult site daily for The Joanne Monster and Angelina Frankensteined (The Re-Up). I guess when I lived alone was when I let my obsession go full force Anyways now we are here and I've watched most every interview and live performance so I don't rewatch a lot of things but if I lived alone I probably would. I find her so calming. I know this post is forever long but I've got Mary Jane Holland over here. Cheers
