Remember when this was supposed to be the coolest performance ever done, as well as the start off original LG5 era, but then it was scrapped for a tribute?

A shame the final performance didn't live up to the potential.

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

Be so interesting to know what she originally had planned, I wonder if we will ever know :ohno:

A MESS

i don't know how things unfold in the backstage but imagine for a brand to do something like this and then...the person you collabed with...well...

Because it wasn’t supposed to be like that, they scrapped it after Bowie died and Gaga did the tribute

Yeah it’s not easy doing something like that when your role model literally died. Wasn’t she crying that very day while getting ready?

I saw Celine Dion the day after her mother died and it was one of the greatest concerts I've ever seen. So save the excuse that she was "devastated" and couldn't focus for someone else.

This is the stupidest thing I’ve read today. Everyone reacts to grief in a different way. We’re human beings not robots.

Not to mention that it was also a great performance.

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing about everything you've said so far :reductive:

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

I think the bigger issue with the Bowie performance in my opinion was that it tried to do too much. Her vocals and looks etc were spot on, but using so many songs and, if I'm being honest, gimmicks, ruined it.
