I don't think they want to be completely private and there's nothing wrong with that. The British media is incredibly toxic, Meghan was targeted and made a villain for no valid reason and Harry experienced how it effected his mother first hand. Then there's the mess that is the royal family. Maybe they just want to speak out instead of hiding away and having those issues moving onto someone else.
