GagaUnderYou 5,017
There’s still so much she could’ve done, honestly. “Vanish Into You” and “Garden of Eden” both could’ve been pushed as singles with music videos. Wouldn’t it have made sense to release the MAYHEM Ball film in theaters before Requiem came out? Is LG8 coming sooner than we think? It’s only been a little over a year since the album dropped, but it already feels like the era could’ve lasted longer — especially with all eyes back on her. Maybe she’s ready for pregnancy? The possibilities really are endless.
Ladle Ghoulash 44,810
Ns, but the era has been jam packed and has already gone on for about 1.5 years, which is longer than most modern eras. Nothing suggests she’s rushing. Edited 3 hours ago by Ladle Ghoulash We have forgotten our public MANNERS 3
TimotheeChalamet 6,818
There is no rush, the era was long enough and it was amazing. Nobody does more than 2 or 3 singles, the aesthetic, the promo and the songs were incredible and there is still the tour film to come out. 6
Bronco 21,331
I mean post album singles don't exist anymore. That's just the reality of the industry. And even if they did - Disease flopped as a single, Abracadabra did good but wasn't a strong blockbuster. There were multiple moments where other songs could have picked up steam to justify a single release (Coachella/Copacabana) but failed to do so. And like it'll be at least 6 months before the Mayhem Ball tour film is ready based on the industry average. Why drag out the wait for Requiem to the end of the year just because we're waiting on a film of a tour lots of people have already seen and moved on from? The gays know how to party
Borislshere 53,490
I’m SAYING!! I truly don’t get it?! Why are we even having to “end” the era?! What happened to just letting them fizzle out? Mayhem still sounds like it was just released every time I play it. She could still do videos for the album. The mayhem ball should’ve been a 2026 tour with requiem coming later this year. It all feels so rushed but part of me thinks/hopes it’s so she can take time off.

Brazilwood 4,326
Y'all think too much about what could've been and what wasn't done. Yes the possibilities are endless, but if you always think about the possibilities, how do you enjoy the things that really materialized in the way they did? Repeat after me: Gaga is my sheperd; I shall not want. Or go read something about lack and want. mlmc1995 10
She’s been working non stop for well over a year. She hasn’t even had time to plan her wedding, never mind a family. And tbh artistically, if she feels like she’s ready to end this era, then she’s ready, whether that’s for a break or anything else. Mayhem has been fantastic, she’s clearly happy and inspired with everything she’s done - far better she ends on a high than drag it out and risk burnout. Lextyr97 20,681
The era started in 2024 with Die With a Smile or Disease. Pick one. We got PLENTY with this era and I don’t think she rushed it in the slightest. Do I wish there were more music videos/singles? ABsolutely. But am I satisfied with everything she gave us? ABBBBBBBsolutely.
GerMonsterNotta 2,089
My hope is all the prep work for the next era is all done, and it’s minimal work for or live performances for Gaga, so it can be an era that runs more quietly whilst she focusses on family during 2027 Maybe she wants to surprise drop an LG8 single in the autumn, which hopefully is a major synthpop hit ft. The Weeknd and we are all bopping to it over the holiday season…….and then drops LG8 full album first week of Feb, maybe a visual album but the visuals could be all Anime style… and that era just runs itself during 2027….. bpmMonkey 7,363
This era has been perfect from start to finish and, to be honest, lovers to friends - all good things come to an end. Mayhem started right at the moment of Chrimaticas end and we just got a phenomenal Live album plus concert film to celebrate all that has been done in the last 1 1/2 years. I respect her and her team immensely for choosing quality over quantity. saving people, hunting things - the family business
Ziggy 13,510
No this feels correct. I mean, those singles haven't done anything online so they're not going to chart which means why make a single out of them? Especially when you accept that DWAS was a third single of sorts, this era has had some sort of footprint for a while now and it hit all the marks it needs to. hit performances, hit videos, iconic looks, smash tour, grammys + award show performances, viral moments. There's not much else that needs to be done, but end it on a high (a lesson she's learned, i imagine, from Born This Way where she ran the era and herself into the ground unfortunately). JohnPokerface 37
Post album singles is a thing of the past unless you're Taylor Swift or something. Clearly lable saw that pushing another single or two is not profitable. It was a fantastic era and I'm glad it ended on a high note. And ofcourse I want to be delulu and believe that it's because she's shifting focus to LG8
