It is weird how some people talk about her. Someone said the other day they loved Rain On Me, will be a song that is always remembered far into the future. Then he said nobody cares about her anymore and she is over.

But he literally had just stated he thinks Rain On Me was a huge hit and will be remembered always Not to mention Shallow just happened and was the most-awarded song ever, and Chromatica was the 6th best selling album of the year with NO promotion Now she just did the National Anthem at a Presidential Inauguration

Thank you for saying this! It’s so true. We need to stop treating her so poorly. I too understand being disappointed about the Chromatica era not being as heavily promoted.  I am too sometimes however I’m also very thankful we got the things we did. To me activism is definitely more important than a record being promoted. We’re living in a time where it’s up to us to come together to help out and Gaga does this all the time. 
 

She’s truly an angel who loves this world so much. I’m grateful for her every day and everything she does to help people. It’s time we start thanking her more often and appreciating her for who she is and what she has done. I really think if we were kinder to Gaga and to each other, it’s possible she might interact again. She deserves all the love, kindness, support, appreciation, and praise in the world. I hope she gets more of it from all of us.

Its crazy how people weaponize their stanning and their limited knowledge of what a “legacy” means. They also conflate what THEY want with what gaga wants. They think if she isnt doing what they want then she isnt doing well. Its okay i had to learn to stop engaging with it... but its crazy that some people think 911 charting is more indicative of her legacy than a day like today

I agree in large part.

But I don't think we're toxic, I just think we want so much FOR Gaga. And that makes us want so much FROM Gaga. That's where we all just need to take a breath and enjoy her for who and what she is. It might fee like she's an extension of ourselves... but she isn't. She gets to do what's best for her. Which feels like an "of course" moment, but stan culture isn't always the sanest thing in the world!

Let's just love her for her National Anthem renditions, Oreos, the Sour Candy video that will or won't happen, all of her amazing songs and performances, Gucci, and/or whatever part of her gives us joy. We need all the joy we can get this days.

True, I think if SC video will come then it comes. It's really hard to speculate things, we should just wait for official announcements than setting ourselves for our own disappointments. The receipts for the rumor tho is kinda vague so it's really frustrating.

My God that huge and pedantic text. People have a right to be frustrated, period. Stop forcing fans to passively swallow anything. We all have a critical sense and if the little interest in promoting Chromatica has displeased many, they have their reasons and that can be bad in the long run for her. It is up to her and the team to understand this rather than hoping that fans will behave like sheep.

She's made it to the upper echelon of both Hollywood and the DC circles and y'all still expect her spend all her time making dance videos? That's not how it works dear. Like previous posters have said, she's in a whole other league now, so you get with the program. Chromatica was a gift for the fans, and she doesn't owe you anything.
