She did a ton of get out the vote stuff in Georgia to flip it blue this cycle. I actually got to see her introduce a lot of the Star Trek cast in a virtual rally to get out the vote in Georgia I invited my GA friend who likes Star Trek to. He may not listen to me, but since he’s straight, maybe he listened to Jeri Ryan when she said we can’t let McConnell be in charge of the senate any more. She ran for governor in Georgia in 2018 but lost due to suspected voter suppression. Since then, she has worked hard to encourage voting and voter registration in Georgia, especially in predominantly African American communities, and many give her credit for Georgia swinging blue in the presidential election.
