It's light on action, yeah. Aside from the flashback intro scene on Themyscira, almost no action happens for the first hour. It's a slow burn and it's slapstick or just downright silly at times, but I enjoyed it. The rotten tomato percentages look pretty accurate, if not generous. As for the good stuff, the environment, characters and story were good overall, it was already hard to make a better film than the first one, people were just too hyped and of course we still have female lead films haters in 2020.
