HotLikeMexico 4,711
HS me casually finding Just Dance and really loving the video because of the Bowie-esque makeup. Then a few months later she blew up and I was obsessed with her all through my sophomore year. Paparazzi at the VMAs was such an experience to see that on TV. She pulled me in with that performance and forever made me a Stan . I was sooo shook.

PunkTheFunk 123,938
I remember hearing Just Dance on the radio for the first time in the summer of 2008 (just before 8th grade). I remember Poker Face and Love Game playing on the radio constantly in late 2008/early 2009. I remember a drawing of The Fame album cover hanging on the wall in art class around that time. The first time I ever watched her perform on TV was on American Idol.
Ronk 14,511
This: I wasn't following her in the early years. But after seeing this video I looked up her old performances and interviews. I live outside the space time continuum.

GVGV 6
I remember playing the The Fame version of Tap Tap Revenge, and that's how I originally discovered the album! I believe it was early/mid 2009. Then the Paparazzi VMA performance happened, and the rest is history
