Like, I know everyone gets lawyers but it just struck me that there are people out there who have to actively try and make this bitch's life better 

Under the law nobody is guilty until proven otherwise. Everyone, from the small time shoplifters to serial killers, deserve a fair trial. A lawyer ensures that you are treated fairly by the justice system so that you are not punished for a crime you didn't commit or put behind bars without sufficient evidence.

Ghislaine Maxwell's crimes are quite clear and there is no defending her in the court of public opinion, but who are we to decide that she doesn't deserve a lawyer? If she doesn't deserve a lawyer, then why should you or I deserve one if we are ever wrongly accused?
