He is a danger to society - he just gets no punishment bc he’s a cop. well in this case we can safely assume that a judge heard the evidence of the prosecution, and was not satisfied that Derek Chauvin was a risk to society in general (the issue is not if he's a bad cop or not), waiting for his trial.
