If we really get to the point where we can’t handle our trash here on earth, then It m all for it. For all we know, Mars is already dead. We could throw endless trash in it.

These. Sending trash into space would only generate more waste (a LOT more); but even assuming there was some case for which it made sense, the Sun would be a much better place to send it. You could drop the whole Earth into the Sun without really bothering it.

(Now watch as we discover there's a whole hidden, sensitive ecosystem of high-temperature life on the surface of the Sun...)

It doesn't make any sense because of how expensive it is. Why would we pay billions of dollars for every cargo container full of trash to make it go away? We won't and we never will. Might as well just burn it and alchemy the smoke into unicorn farts, that's an equally good idea

Okay now I know it's all nice and cute to say "no we shouldn't put trash on other planets!!1" but let's be realistic for a second shall we? If the alternative is people dying because of pollution what the hell does it matter if mars has some trash on it, since literally nothing lives there? If you're privileged enough to not have your water polluted by trash and not live in it, it's best you don't play planet warrior, because we're not in a position to pick and choose.
