She absolutely is a transphobe and plenty of people have pointed out why her statements don't hold up to scrutiny

I doubt you care, but for anyone else who's curious, here's a condensed rundown

you're just too sensitive

i do like the Galbraith series... but idk if i’ll continue this series after this.

i remember her interview (i think a day in the life of JK Rowling) where she said she hated bigotry and this is what she’s doing.

whether her recent tweets were for promo or just to rile people up with her views on people makes me question her behavior and credibility :saladga:

Educate yourself. She’s transphobic, queen.

you wouldn't be chosen to Ravenclaw for sure :triggered:

Who cares what imaginary house people would be chosen for? There’s much more concerning and real issues in the world. Have some sensitivity.

I definitely don’t think JK is transphobic but I do see why people are mad about it but why is she not allowed to get feed back from people and learn about it instead people just want to cancel everything JK.

If that’s the case don’t call her a queen when she’s been blatantly disrespectful to trans people :vegas:

Have some awareness, queen.

You're still not getting it, aren't you? The point still floats above your head.

SJWs movement is a cancer on society.

Praising someone who has upset a community isn’t cool.

Again, have some sensitivity for those people.

A website that thrives from LGBTQ+ people is clearly not a place for you.

Take your offensive and hurtful opinions elsewhere :vegas:

Jesus, imagine not being willing to see what's being played out before your very eyes

Her views are not intelligent or nuanced or "up for debate." They are hateful, harmful themselves, and misguided. I've written about them extensively and have spent hours reading her essays.

In the midst of an actual pandemic, she likened the rising trans population to a "pandemic" driven by misunderstood autism, peer pressure, and homophobia (e.g. gay men hate themselves and what to become women to fit into society).

I truly hope you don't support these values.

I literally said I didn't agree with everything she said. But she did point out issues that seem to be very UK-centric, which might explain why many people worldwide found her stance so hard to grasp. I just think she's trying to understand, and what's really hurtful is what the media and people on socials took out of it by oversimplifying her discourse and making her seem like the villain in the process. I'm fairly sure she didn't mean to hurt anyone, and loves trans people as much as the next person. Gender dynamics are mysterious, I don't think anyone can pretend to have all the answers, so the least we can do is try to have an educated discussion about it without cancelling people that might not share your exact views. But since it deals with people's very identity, of course it's gonna be taken personally.
