LOVEDRUG 10,686 Posted August 24, 2020 Share Posted August 24, 2020 yesterday, mr charles puth posted a small snippet of a potential cover of bts' latest song, dynamite. many charlie puth stans began questioning whether or not it was a snippet of an upcoming song, and this angered bts stans, mainly because he failed to give any credit or indication that it was a bts song, leading to the confusion. this follows an issue in early july where he was accused of using bts for clout. many bts stans are blaming this for bts' lack of success amongst the general public, since charlie has such a large platform and could help to promote the song if he's going to cover it. in other words, it's a whole mess. i even saw a girl comparing him to christopher columbus so... Most artists/fans would just be flattered and move on with their business. if Taylor Swift posted a video singing a Gaga song, I would personally be hyped not offended.
