Did you expect more from Parris x Gaga ?

Nothing has GAGGED ME as much as ABRACADABRA! It’s been YEARS since anything Gaga did truly GAGGED ME. And that music video was next level.

 

and then that was it.. the choreography on the tour is good, but did you expect more ABRA level gaggable choreography out of Parris and Gaga’s partnership ?

truthfully, I don’t understand why Parris did not get to choreograph TDD, because it is nowhere near on par with Abra- and TDD 8: meant to be a DANCE track. So why did they not go all out for the choreo???

 

I am beyond grateful for what we DID get, but my greedy ass WANTS MORE

a) we know why parris didn't do the choreo for TDD it was because production already had a choreographer

b) are you expecting gaga to be doing abra level choreo for every song on the tour or?

Yes, mostly I wish Disease would have had a gaggy differently choreographed music video.

Abracadabra and the Mayhem show were FANTASTIC. I wish they did more together. We truly need a music video for Vanish Into You, Shadow Of A Man and Garden Of Eden

I'll be honest, I didn't expect Abra level choreo on tour. 
Because so much of that music video choreo is cinematography dependent to really make it pop. That's just not replicable on a tour where you can't control viewing angle. 

I think Parris delivered the best tour choreo we've seen in ages, everything was fluid and theatrical.

Richy's work was very flail-y but I liked the rhythm and intention behind the moves better.

Parris's work is more stable but it lacks...idk, that "Gaga" touch. It feels less "queen of the gays" and more "female pop star" if that makes sense.

The new Judas choreo is the best besides Abra but I'm wondering what she was thinking with that new Applause choreo that I won't even bother learning  

Truly, she just needs a gay man to be her lead choreographer

Well she had Laurianne do a fck ton of MV with gaggy choreo

she had squirrel do a fck ton of MV with questionable and occasionally gaggy choreo

 

so I thought since Parris was her new choreographer we’d get more than one MV with gaggy choreo but we shall see what else may come the next album , and Laurianne and Richie were here for multiple eras

I like what they’ve done together but I think I have to see Mayhem Ball to form a solid opinion. I recently did my monthly rewatch of the Chromatica Ball () and I thought the choreography throughout was EXCELLENT! All the moves are so intentional and even when theres only a few dancers (like during Pokerface) or even when it’s just Gaga (Sour Candy dancebreak) it’s still incredible. Can’t wait to see what they did for the Ball!

I’d just want to see what they could’ve come up with for a Shadow of a Man video if they both decided to heavily channel MJ. I love the work they’ve done together otherwise.

Personally I want Gaga doing less choreography on tour and to focus on vocals with her weird little dances mixed in. Stand there and belt it and just feel yourself, girl. She can dance but it’s not her strongest aspect.
