Lady Gaga faced backlash from her fans whose views at her concert near Los Angeles were blocked by camera crews recording the show. Newsweek reached out to representatives for Lady Gaga for comment via email.

Fans can pay hundreds of dollars for concert tickets to see popular artists like Lady Gaga. Videos of fans complaining about the obstructed view during the Inglewood stop of the Mayhem Ball tour spread across social media platforms like TikTok, with the pop star coming under fire from some of her famously loyal fan base. It has sparked debate about whether fans should be notified ahead of time about whether concerts are being recorded and if this could affect their view.

One video posted by @thatvividsmagic on TikTok received more than 400,000 views on the platform.

"@Ladygaga I love you so much but I did not buy 3rd row center seats to watch your camera men," the user wrote. "You were still so amazing tho LOVE YOU MOTHER."

She wrote in a comment asking if views were obstructed the whole time, "basically yes," but that she "got a few parts where they moved BRIEFLY."

Yeah it's deserved. The tickets are WAYYYY too expensive for people to essentially be extras in a movie

I would have found it irritating if I paid £20 never mind the heinous cost of these tickets. There should have been a warning.

Yeah that's unacceptable. People who are paying such high prices for good seats shouldn't have their view blocked like that. Well actually, nobody should have their view blocked like that no matter the price.

Artists normaly film a rehersal with no audience for close shots. This could have been easily avoided.

I would've been FUMING. It was bad enough having security right in front of us at barricade, in Australia they were literally standing on the platforms so their heads were blocking our view.

Yeah the cameras could have been setup differently with longer lenses. There was no reason to be this close. I understand that the director probably had a vision and that it's going to look great on film but it's a deliberate choice that could have been avoided. The constant stopping to fix her hair, missing cues, etc also ruins the flow of the show. I would have been fuming

But paying regular price for something like this? I'd be pissed as well, hope everyone who asked for a refund will get it.

I think they had to fix a special date for the filming, either free with a raffle or exclusive to fans with a low fixed price and not part of the tour.

Miss Gagz and Michael shuda known better than to rob these paying viewers from that blocked view.
Lol reminds me of my awful and expensive seat at Singapore where I can’t see gaga 60% of the time because of that annoying stage that has her hidden in the center.
so having this is just not right as well. We paid but we deserve better
