That’s tough because she’s great at both. 
I love it when she does Jazz, but if she never did a movie again then we might miss out on some amazing original soundtrack music

she does pick good scripts, it's the editing, rewrites, reshooting and direction she has no control or prediction about once she's signed that contract

on paper, joker 2 should have been a smash hit (and her part was one of the few parts that was praised), the fact Todd messed up that bad is an achievement in itself

I want the albums. I never casually watch movies but I'm always playing music and tbh I like her jazz/traditional stuff as much as I like her pop music. Sometimes even more  

I still need a proper cover of My Romance and there's dozens of songs in the American songbook that I need to hear her sing.

Movies

She's not a great actress and every time she's doing a movie it's taking too much time from her music career and it's exhausting when at the end, it's just an average to meh movie.

ASIB was great because of the music, not because of her acting.. her acting was average..

Gucci was horrible, everything, it felt like a parody on an Italian family and she's the biggest comedian there.

Joker 2 shouldn't even been released... again the best that came  from this movie is music, Harlequin.

 

Even her 1 minute on Wednesday was not good lol but with these kind of small roles I can be fine.. but then a whole era is on standby or over just to release 1 song for the small acting project...

Thats an impossible choice, she loves Jazz so much and becoming a movie star has always been a dream of hers.

That’s hard because I love both, I’d probably sacrifice her Jazz albums though only because I feel like she’s probably not gonna do many more anyway now Tony’s gone. And HARLEQUIN was more theatrical and less jazz-y

With movies, she can explore so many different characters and could also mean a soundtrack from her.
