First Pokemon game premiere since I have Switch, well, not counting AZ Legends  I'm pretty sure it'll be a Switch 2 title though, so I still won't be able to play it, but gotta have a liiiiiittle hope

Will depend on how they think the sales of switch 2 went.

But realistically, Legends ZA was probably their intended "bridge between consoles" game.

Pretty sure it's possible! Such a huge franchise, releasing a mainline game exclusive to Switch 2 would make a lot of people buy it, if they haven't yet. It could either be too advanced for Switch 1, or not, but still an exclusive to boost S2 sales. Still hoping for it to run on S1!

With the **** graphics they've delivered for the most recent ones, I'm sure the Switch 1 will be able to handle it too.

Then it will have to be a game I don't play if so 

Idk why I care, all the Switch games have been **** with no replay value lmao. Apart from Let's Go Pikachu, but that was mostly the fact it was basically Pokémon Yellow on the big screen and I love that from my childhood

I am not into Pokemon games anymore, but even as an adult... i am still fascinated and hooked by the ever increasing number of Pokemons! And the starters are what many are excited to see as well. I always like seeing all the starters in one picture, like this for example, even though it's the final evo:

 

i am still for Torterra at this point. But i am liking that Mega Chesnaught for its design.

Winds and Waves?  Interesting... I just hope that the designs dont be too noisy which is whats happening in the recent games.
