The taditions grew from free Slavic and Cossack communities but through Christianity / Tsarist Russia and Soviet Russia autocracy came to Russia and i just wanted to say that higher numbers can be used for more control. Altough Russia has trough its history many anarchic phases and in general anarchic spirit in the daily life of simple Russians, the elite of Russia often ruled the country rude - thats why i'm not sure about higher numbers and fear that some strong Russian powers could use it to build a real dictator system like in Stalins Soviet Russia. On Tuesday, the Arizona Department of Health Services reported 2,392 new cases of coronavirus—the first time the state has ever recorded at least 2,000 cases in a single day. The new case count topped the old single-day record—which was recorded on Friday—by almost 45%. Hospitalizations have also reached an all-time high, and over 80% of hospital beds are currently occupied, according to the state. The hardest hit part of the state by far has been Maricopa County, which includes the city of Phoenix and its sprawling suburbs; the county accounts for over half of all cases and deaths in the state. Positive test results—a key metric used to determine whether coronavirus spread is increasing—has also spiked. But despite all the health trends going in the wrong direction, Gov. Time will tell. Maybe there were manipulation and the different ambitions are also unclear. I'm not sure, maybe the people who say the numbers are higher have the weakest controle in what they are doing and want hide behind the numbers. I know Russian history, even when folk grew up the elite wanted not to share power because they (elite) did some very wrong things. Everyone makes mistakes but with that thing (Corona) to lie is not ok and i hope its not the case with the informations about the higher numbers. It is understandable why many Russians are skeptical.
