This isn't about "winning"...  Let's agree to disagree and that's fine. Like I said before, I haven't anything particular against Apple, I've been using iPhones and a MacBook for years. I just think it's ridiculous and tone-deaf to sell a new phone right now when many people are unemployed, and the ones that are working are doing so in terrible conditions, that's literally all.

companies are still running, so in your mind every non essential company should be closed? Like people who has 399 dlls in this moment to buy a new phone will buy it either way it's an iPhone or not, not everyone is facing a catastrophic economic situation right now, apple is not there shoving the new SE right in our faces pushing us to buy it or am I wrong? people buying things won't be stopped by the pandemic, it's up to them whether they realize it's a priority according to their own economic situation. 

would I buy a phone rn, probably not but people out there will, am I gonna judge them for doing it....?  lord, NO, I don't give a **** what people spend their money on...

Like I said now several times on this thread, I have nothing against Apple, I've been a faithful customer for nearly a decade now. It just feels weird and a bit tone-deaf for them to announce a new phone at the moment, that's literally all, why don't everyone here take a seat and have a drink, seems like y'all need it

I love it. The good-old design is better than all the (very) ugly notches out there. Even the phones that have pop-up cameras don't have a rectangular screen, that's not ergonomic at all, so this one is better Anyway, cheaper than the other iPhone, but still far too expensive for what it is. There are plenty of phones with the same -or even better- functionalities that are cheaper, and that's no secret

Good for them but Android phones are available at half the rate and same(or better) features. Not to mention updates that don't render your phone completely useless and broken

Most people get their phone delivered hun. I get it's kinda non-essential, but it's being on the 24th, that's a while away yet and the pandemic seems to be slowing down. A new phone could keep people in doors too. Not every business needs to be shutdown. The economy would crumble in so many ways. Apple have also donated millions to other organisations & are working with Google apparently, on a contact tracing app. They're doing so much more than other companies, let them release the goddamn phone 😂 Acting like they're sat and done nothing.

Apple slowed down iPhones to achieve stability and prevent the phone from unexpectedly shutting down intermittently. Power delivery becomes an issue with wear and tear. The intention was to prolong the life of the phone. Their only mistake was not informing the user.

Makes sense, I guess.

I've changed my phones multiple times and have weighed Apple phones with others and I've always found Android phones to be better because they pack a lot of features at half or lesser than half of Apple prices. I'd never spend $400+ on a phone with features that I can get for maximum $250. Personal opinion, obviously.

Beyond dated look. I’ll be sticking with my 12 Pro. I wasn’t expecting anything g worthwhile for the announcement.
