I do know but the one Apple is trying to do is differet method than these chinese Android did. It won't be optical where phone need to have certain part of screen transparent to be able to read fingerprints. Apple is trying to do one that will unlock when touched from any parts of the screen and can learn to reject accidental touch too.

Latest features are bezeless screens, multiple cameras, facial recognition, among many different things. This phone design is literally the same design they've been using since the iPhone 6. Just because it's their mid-range line doesn't mean they have to be so disrespectful and recycle a 5 year old design to their fans who might not have the most money in the bank. Look at Xiaomi and Vivo and OnePlus and even Pixel 4a and see what they can do for $399.

People who uses Apple in this range actually still want this old design, bezels, od touch and eveything else, and the main reason they have not been moved on to 11 or XR even if they can. These people exist and there are a lot of them. Just watch, this phone will be their best sellers.

Nnn not Chinese Android.  But anyway, Samsung didnt go the optical way and have developed what Apple has been testing out I think.

Judging by your multi-comments it seems you’re not an Apple fan. People have been using the “they need to change before someone else takes over” argument for 8 years. They’re doing great sweetie. People will buy regardless. $400 for an iPhone with some pretty big tech and chips that are still top-of-the-line is appealing to people who don’t wanna pay $1,000+ or don’t need the newest features. Their last SE was one of their highest selling phones of 2016-2017 which is why they upgraded to a second gen model. A lot of businesses use them for work phones and they’re good for teens getting their first iPhone or the older population. Don’t buy it then

Since he's not targeting someone and their feelings, I don't understand why you're so upset about it. He can rightfully criticize a trillion dollar company and I'm sure they can take it.
