I truly cannot live life cooped up in my house, not seeing my fiance, family, and friends. I'm starting to lose my mind. If only the America government cared about it's citizens we could have been under a nationwide lock down weeks ago. But no, we are ran by idiots. arrtpop 2,752 Posted April 3, 2020 Share Posted April 3, 2020 i really hope this doesn’t come across as selfish because i completely understand that this is a pandemic and how serious it is. i’ve been doing my part in social distancing - i’ve only left my house three times since the lockdown was ordered (besides short walks down my block where i don’t even see anyone). when does it look like we can start seeing our friends again? clearly the whole “as long as it’s less than 10 people it’s okay” mentality is out the window (thank god), but when does it look like i can at least have some people over for a small dinner? aphrodite Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't think that will be allowed until at least July. The stay at home order where I live (Florida) was just extended until April 30 and I expect it'll be extended again. Its rough. I watch like every video of her and she ALWAYS gives sources and bases her claims on actual scientific papers, especially ones made in a double-blind study, as she calls it the golden standard. But the scary part is when the R0 stays above 1 and the hospitals dont have any beds left and situations becomes like in Italy.
