Of she cancelled release because of virus and her moral code, I highly doubt she'd release anything for the same reason.

What is this moral code I keep hearing about? Why is NME giving FN five star reviews, the Weeknd releasing videos and thriving, they aren't getting critiques how they shouldn't have released their music because of a "moral code."

Yeah, cos that thing is individual. She, herself, felt it isn't right so what can we do?

I think a song from the album in April would be nice as an instant gratitude song.  It could be a deep album cut that she has no intention of releasing as a single.

They were already scheduled far in advanced and both The Weeknd and Dua had heavily promoted their albums. And even with that, Dua said she was gonna postpone if the album had not leaked. Gaga on the other hand had no chance whatsoever to even perform Stupid Love or do interviews. Her release schedule was totally destroyed by the virus; Dua and The Weeknd were able to carry out 90% of theirs with the album release being the very last thing and also had visuals and music videos ready in advance. Stop using them as a reason to drag Gaga. The circumstances are not even comparable

the last time she said soon, was about the album cover which is doing one month pre-order without a cover. :saladga:

You're COMPLETELY missing my point. First off, I'm not dragging Gaga. At all. My point is that nowhere am I reading in reviews or social media criticism towards Dua and the Weeknd for STILL releasing music (FN has been around since January btw). It's the same concept. Promo or no promo they're both releasing music in the middle of a pandemic and you can argue that Gaga basically shaded anyone who still wants to release new music right now. Sick of the little defenders on here when there's nothing to defend

i'm not even mad about the postpone, usually it takes 4 months between lead and album, just that seems like she is going to reboot the era since there no effort for SL at all.

Gaga never implied that she would get dragged by releasing music. She did this because its the logical thing from a business point of view. If there’s people saying she’ll get dragged, its the fans who fail to see that now is just not the best time to focus on the album. If you want to read into that, go ahead, but no artist is gonna get dragged for releasing. Gaga just wants better circumstances to release the album and most of the fans cant see that

Bingo -- So where's the line between not releasing because it's not the right thing to do and not releasing based on business decisions and profit? Genuinely asking actually.
