Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said Wednesday that he is “disgusted” by any personal attacks his supporters or anyone else has lobbed at his presidential primary opponent Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.). MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow asked Sanders about attacks some of his supporters have made, tweeting images of snakes and even calling for Warren to be challenged in a primary in her next Massachusetts Senate election. Bernie wanted her to run a progressive campaign in 2016 but she wanted Hillary's VP instead. Now she ran a Bernie-lite campaign, and is now taking shots at him at the debates over the Bernie Bro sh-it and literally saying he get's nothing done, which is just not true. She should have dropped in support of Bernie when she saw that Amy and Pete dropped to bolster Biden. Now after Super Tuesday she not only got stomped she barely got more delegates then Pete and he dropped out... and shes still not dropping out. She either has an enormous ego or she’s anti Bernie. luckyanderson 379 Posted March 5, 2020 Share Posted March 5, 2020 At this point, as devout of a Bernie supporter as I am, I feel like he is hurting himself with his refusal to go after Warren or Biden as they have him. His track record and platform speak for his character enough. If Super Tuesday showed him and his campaign anything, it should be that being nice doesn't matter - Donald Trump and Hillary both saw to that in 2016. It is time Bernie calls a spade a spade: Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Biden, Bloomberg and now Warren are all establishment puppets set on defending the corruption and wealth of rich Democratic donors and corporations. I honestly think Bernie is being far too nice to Warren after she accused him of blatant sexism in an effort to bolster her own poll numbers after backtracking on the majority of her actual progressive platform. I feel like at this point, Bernie is trying to all but drop out in order to suffice her ego in a hopes she will join him before the convention as opposed to draw it out and screw the both of them. As much as I wouldn't have wanted a Warren vice-presidency, with the way things have been going with the moderates uniting behind Joe and boosting his once lost candidacy on Super Tuesday, whatever is necessary to put up a fight for the Progressive Movement (without Bernie dropping out himself) I am for.
