If he had stuck with the progressive wing he could have been the nominee tbh

No. He would have never been able to compete with Warren or Sanders, but I am happy he made it this far. TBH it was easier to compete with Biden and Amy for the moderate vote. Which did win.

Bernie is actually the second choice for most Pete supporters at this point according to Morning Consult. But it looks like his support will be split pretty evenly among everyone who's left.

Thats true nationally rn, but its the first poll to show that. We dont have enough time to know if its conclusive or not.

He's going to endorse Biden and Biden could win TX and become viable in CA (Or Warren could do better there now, since his support will go to her as well)

He should wait it out until after ST so to keep the moderate vote split and keep others from being able to obtain viability in many states on ST tbh

that's sort of bad news for us Bernie Sanders supporters. Because once Butti drops all his voters will move to Bloomberg & Biden.

If Warren, Steyer and Tulsi have any honor in them they will bow out immediately after Buttigieg and give their support to Sanders otherwise this can be a big issue and the tipping point. If they remain in the race then they will chip away at Sanders obtaining a clear lead and this will let the coalition of Buttigieg voters + Biden / Bloomberg to win the Democratic election.

She should have Amy post its made. I would have bought just as a souvenir of the primary season. I'm not even lying about that.

He wasn't my candidate, but as a gay person interested in government and running for office, his campaign did mean a lot to me.

I think that’s exactly why he IS dropping out. If he’s dropping out, so should Warren, Klobuchar, and (especially) Gabbard.

Morning Consult is a pretty garbage polling system, though. Even in SC, Steyer's voters went mostly to Biden...

Look, some of you know I love Warren and Bernie was a ...distant second for me. But she needs to drop out, now. Black voters aren't a monolith but are notoriously under polled, and Bernie's losing Black voters in liberal NV and by far wider margins in conservative SC. If Pete drops out, his voters + Biden's strength with Black voters + the fact that he'll be the only one viable in FL most likely...it will be Biden's race to lose.

*Also, I feel like screaming at some of Bernie's campaign people because I'd much rather him win than Biden. Why the f*ck is he the only candidate to skip Bloody Sunday event in Alabama!!!!!!  Like who the f*ck went "oops, we have 35+  years old issue with Black voters...let's skip a very important event in Alabama." Also, his losing speech...j*sus. Getting wiped out and doing poorly with Black voters in SC,and he goes on the same spiel about how the "elites" are against him....so many people read that, even if it's not what he meant, as him calling SC voters as elite. And the Castro thing...he has a point, but making that before an election is just bad politics and made him not viable in FL. He could have easily said "Cuba has a wonderful literacy rate that Castro helped pioneer, but unfortunately censorship does not allow people the freedom to read the free press"
