Baby, that’s where I’ll be

By the time that you're done with me
All these tears I cried drownin' in a tidal wave
You've been up all night
Diggin' my grave :poot:

Every single day, yeah, I dig a grave
Then I sit inside it wondering if I'll behave
It's a game I play
And I hate to say
You're the worst thing and the best thing that's happened to me

that theory was confirmed a myth sadly

Where’s the article you can link to confirm that “myth?” In your country and others, existing and asymptomatic cases are infecting others hence the spread. But not enough research has been conducted on the literally “novel” COVID-19. There’s been research that supports and rejects the notion that season matters. Another study conducted by the NIH also said that regular UV-rays are possible to limit the spread. The spread won’t slow down anytime soon because of those not actually listening and practicing social distancing. Didn’t mean to come for you but there’s way too much reporting of sources not backed up by science and research.

Everytime I check this thread it’s just people fighting about having different opinions or trying to prove each other wrong. Do y’all ever, like.... get tired of doing that??????

Not so much when you don't actually want to harm someone. We just want to practice our debate skill and sharpen our thinking a little bit. Life gets boring if you just accept it passively though. In real life I would be loving and hugging you all and that's what matters not the beefs here. At the end of the day this is ..the Internet - social toilet, but nobody get through life with a little peeing right?

Honestly if the stuff about the album cover is real I’m thinking she pulled the album more for the themes than anything else. If “Earth being canceled” is a theme then I can see that being controversial. Makes me wonder when we’ll ever get the album or if she’ll change the cover/themes.

I can’t find the page but apparently a reliable source on ATRL saw the cover and said it ties in with the “canceling earth” theme

There's nothing really problematic with her "Earth is canceled" statement... she's just saying the state of the world is so unbearable that she'd rather live in her own world (which is basically the same thing as her saying "I'd rather take a giant dose of bullshit any day over the truth" during the Monster Ball and "I loathe reality" in the MTN music video).

Taking the theme to some extremes the way Grimes did with Miss Anthropocene in which the end of the world is told through allegories could have somewhat been a bit problematic in the current times, but I confess I'm having a hard time thinking Gaga delayed for this reason. Then again, we have yet to discover a lot about Chromatica, including its album cover.

This got me thinking. There's been a lot of discussion on why the delay has happened and truth be told the simplest answer is probably all of the things discussed when added up just made it a bad time to release. Logistics of promotion and production impacted 100% by the virus. The idea of releasing a big dance pop record as deaths are skyrocketing. The concept of the destruction of Earth for a new home while people are fighting for their life in hospitals ready for collapse. So much there adds up to let's hold off for now and once there is either an end in sight for this pandemic OR it is more under control we can focus on a release. The entire world has shifted focus to how we handle ourselves in this time - releasing now would just be wrong. The album will not be received in a totally positive light with whats going on and that will impact sales and the sales ARE important because a lot of money has already gone into the creation of this album. Nobody worked on this album for free - it was planned to be a HUGE release. We can't just sit and say "let the music stand on it's own" because ultimately that was never the plan, it was always supposed to be a much larger project for the art to make it an event. So releasing now would be BOTH tone deaf AND financially not feasible.

When will this leak? xx

Considering physical copies were never shipped, I wouldn't expect it to leak. Maybe that Babylon leak, but that's it. The one who leaked SL also had Babylon so it's the only possibility atm.

I'm extremely conflicted about the possibility of a leak. There's a part of me that thinks the album is already ready on many online platforms and basically just a click away from being released with tons of physical copies sitting in warehouses, and another part that thinks it's still very much secured on hard drives at Interscope with physical production not yet started.

Since there's no possible way for us to know what situation we're in, it's pretty hard to gauge the actual possibility of the album leaking anytime. Not gonna lie, I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled around April 10th in case some retailer ****s up.

This is a good way to put it and made me feel different bout the delay, thank you
