Gagadaily when Stupid Love was released and the world was normal(ish)

 

 

Gagadaily when everyone found out about the delay of the album and everyone fumed and bitched at each other...

 

The next day realising it wasn’t all a dream and you’ve gone back 2years to knowing nothing.

I was devastated to find out it was postponed, what kills me more is that we now are back in a sensation where we don't have a timeframe. A place this fanbase was in not too long ago, it seems too soon to be feeling it again as we were so close to it.

But Gaga would have gotten **** for this either way, if she had just released the album as normal without the level of an era she seemed to have been planning for, she would have been dragged for not serving what we want from her or what we expect from her, remember how shook we were with the PAPER mag shoot, surely we want to feel that more and more whilst experiencing this album? 

I am gutted and I would give anything to just hear the whole album tomorrow, but I feel like once it is eventually released we will realise it was the right decision, it's super hard to imagine that right now and I do somewhat agree that this goes against the ethos of the album from what we have heard, but I think it is suited more for a time of celebration which doesnt seem as appropriate while numbers and death tolls are still very much on the rise.

I think this will be absolutely devastating for her though if the album does end up leaking now, all I ask of her is to release some promo singles in the interim, it's the least we can ask. We don't even need the music videos right this second - just something to make this all easier to cope with.

About her post specifically, I mean, what do you want her to say? She made it clear why she's delaying the album. It's about the virus, and she feels like at this time it's not completely appropriate to release the album.

This was beautifully said. I mean I REALLY REALLY want her to release some type of promo single, and she did say she has plans on releasing things very soon() but I can't help but to feel like if she releases anything it would go against what she said in her delay post. As much as I would love a promo single, she point blank said she doesn't feel it is the right time to release new music. It just bothers me seeing artists like 5SOS and Rihanna and Weeknd & Dua all releasing stuff/engaging with their fans through this tough time. It's only been two days since the post, my emotions are still raw. I hope she still puts out something on 4/3 as planned, it definitely won't be the Ari collab, but I don't see the harm in a random promo single (or Babylon). That would make me sooooo happy, but makes me wonder if she'll get dragged for still releasing a song after saying what she said.

Nothing. Just some user who thinks they're speaking facts, acting all mature and talking about growing up and not being blinded by Gaga's words anymore when in reality they're just acting like some spoiled brat throwing a tantrum in the middle of the mall because their dad did not get them what they want.

Otherwise she would not write such a statement full of contradiction and patheticism. It is just a tactic: keep your image "pink and soapy" when you can't simply state the truth.

I think back to the ARTPOP times when she was exposing and expressing how s*hitty the music industry was.
Now I get it: she wasn't getting praised as she needed to so she rebelled (and stupid me was standing by her writing essays on ARTPOP and the logic of the art market killing art herself.)

From the "defenders" she gets treated as a Messiah. Now she finally has the recognition as a great singer-songwriter (which she is), as an actress as well, businesswoman, philanthropist etc. She just reached a level where all she needs it to keep making profit and keep what she has reached.
Come on. Beauty products bundle. And thinking about it she does not look that far from Madonna in terms of self-centredness, she just sugar that up with #kindness #thisnadthatlovelovelove

She is a money maker who cannot make the maximised profit she/labe/management want now. Which is fine, there are other musicians out there I can listen to, but the message is clearly hypocritical and artificial.

Embarrassing the 3 pager to explain the delay, contradictory, talking about finding solutions (as if that was her job) while talking to scientists and doctors. Wow, what a face like a moon rock, so so unnecessary. Please, no. Shut up.

I am amazed at myself for writing this, but this is truly how I see her now in the light of mixing the Corona Virus pandemic with #kindess will save the world and I need to execute it properly. Hope you will have the opportunity in the future, sis. Doubt it will be easy.

I can't stand it, and won't stand by it. I actually really don't mind having the album out next year, I am just embarassed for how much I defended her (as if she needed it) on this site in the past years. Guess I grew up, and I now notice thing that I would not have noticed before, and I can't pretend I don't see them for what they really are. Contradictory and dangerously deviant excuses.

Now's time to be real, not realistic as "you don't know how the industry works", simply REAL. I know about the industry and how money always comes first this day and age, but I don't care, this is not what I seek in an artist. 

It was a big mistake on her part to play the Kindness Punk when it is obviously just a stunt.
