It would have been cool if she released Chromatica digitally April 10 and held off on physical copies being released that way during this shelter in place she could get a few tracks done and then re-release Chromatica later with the physical copies alongside the new tracks. 
 

that’s just a fantasy though. I still can’t wait to hear the album.

Oh i didn't think about the legal prospective but i feel like Gaga rarely revisits her scrapped material. I'd love to have Temple as a bonus track ngl.

The biggest difference I can think it makes is that it simply gives her and her team and label more time to readjust their strategy. 
 

if this is really going on for a long time, which it probably will, I don’t think they would delay it THAT long. Despite what she said in the letter. 
 

I think, aside from the loss in physical sales, the biggest reason for the delay was just to come up with new ways to navigate this situation from a promo aspect.

I'd hope that means that they came to their senses and decided to release it early, just release the album April 3rd

and Rain On Me this Friday to gain attraction with the video on album release day

cause if they are really gonna wait for the virus to go away then your looking at a 1-2 year waiting time sis and That's just dumb. 

They're not waiting for the virus to go away, they're waiting for the situation to get good enough for them to release, it's quite different.

Many things can happen in 2 month time. Maybe this delay will be all for nothing, but maybe the situation will get slightly better and will allow her to do some of the things she initially planned. Nobody can blame her for wanting to give this era a chance.

trajectories show that things are going to get worse so theres literally no reason to wait for the "golden date" cause it aint happening for somewhile
