What I’m afraid of is them coming to the realization that the tour can’t happen and them delaying the album even further. But also, she’s under contract with MGM so she’s also bound to Enigma for X amount of dates when the CDC allows. I’m gutted like everyone but there’s so many moving parts here. The only reason I’m (respectfully) disagreeing with the delay altogether is because we (& they) really don’t know when she’s going to be able to execute whatever vision she intends for the album. I agree with you here, I feel like they're currently planning an "optimistic" schedule imagining the tour will still be happening this summer, so if that's the case, I fear the announcement of a 2nd, longer delay, including the postponement of the tour, which could take up to a year to reschedule... I'm very much afraid this is what's gonna happen, but let's hope the situation is gonna get better in the coming weeks and quarantine will be somewhat lifted to allow people - and artists - to go back to their activities.
