@Altair Because he's not a politician it's easier for him to drop out when he realizes there's 0 chance of winning because he's got nothing to gain by dragging it out

 

Politicians on the other hand if they drop out too fast could be seen as not fighters which hurts them later on in other elected positions

 

Also some may wanna go as long as possible simply to stay relevant and promote themselves which again would help them in other aspects of political career

 

Yang doesn't need to play politics but politicians could have personal alterior motives to continue as long as possible even if they know they aren't going to win

That really sucks- I've enjoyed his campaign.  

He provided a bold and new perspective on key issues like manufacturing, UBI, and income inequality, and really brought in a host of new voters. I hope he sticks around and decides to run for office for something like the House of Reps, for Mayor, or even the US Senate.

I've heard he just wants a key role in the winners administration.  There are so many good places to put him, and he could change the world from any of them.

Ugh...I wanted that $1,000 a month to come true, but I doubt even if he did get elected he would have been able to make that a reality.  Welp...it's gonna be Trump vs whatever Dem candidate sticks it out...maybe Sanders

That's politicians in general. Like 99% of the times

 

That's one reason I like Bernie Sanders he seems more humble than most

 

I do not agree with all his policies or how far he wants to go on some stuff but as a person he's the one  candidate I respect the most

He really did come from nowhere to do pretty well. (a lot better than many career politicians) I really do like him and hope he ends up in someone’s cabinet or staying in politics.
