I for one am worried about Venice especially after the latest floods there. Such a beautiful city and I want to see and visit it someday Excuse my ignorance but is Venice ocean water or lake water? Then rising water levels is definitely a danger Funny here in Canada we never concerned ourselves much with rising water levels... Most of our population lives well above sea level... Our only really major city that's near sea level is Vancouver and even then it's not the entire city... Even if the Oceans rise 1 metre (3 feet) from currents levels we wouldn't really have a displacement issue like many costal cities around the world I never thought it would be the fresh water lakes to now pose costal and flooding challanges... especiallywhen for so long the entire rhetoric was falling great lake water levels and lack of fresh water world wide Climate change is so unpredictable and this is a perfect example U have a trend that goes on for decades (in this case falling water levels) then when a certain threshold is crossed the exact opposite starts to happen
