The packaging is basic and boring. The actual products themselves just do not look inventive or out there like the 'Lady Gaga' brand. Sarah Tanno's makeup skills has ALWAYS been brought into question multiple times by many monsters who are also makeup artists. The beauty community have been dragging it to the pits on twitter and now reddit. It just seems like a quick cash grab.

The worst part for me is that she's using Amazon as a launch pad for the brand. Amazon has one of the worst track records for human rights. The way they treat their employees is downright inhumane. Did she do research on Amazon beforehand? The privileged white lens in which she looks through is staggering. First thinking her non-US fans can afford Vegas and now this. Is her message of empowering makeup right if it is in the expense of overworked, exhausted Amazon employees who get treated like ****?

Like I'm sorry I love Gaga but she has really disappointed me recently and we're allowed to not support everything she does.

So don't buy it. 🤷‍♀️

What about the gaga and amazon partner. people are more interested in attacking the gaga than saving the world from slave labor. are hypocrites and will not change anything like that. amazon sells millions of products, will not be boycotted Haus Labs that will change anything. do not blame her. She just wants to do her business.

BUY HAUS LABS AND LOVE AMAZON.giphy.gif

I swear, I read the exact same sh*t about flopping and bad reviews before ASIB:ladyhaha:

Calm down.

I wasn't the biggest fan of HAUS LABORATORIES either,  I posted several threads and comments of disapproval but my opinion changed through time. I adore the visuals and I like the message and I think it fits her persona very well, self acceptance, authenticity and artistry. I know the packaging and the products are not extremely creative nor groundbreaking, but she's starting a business so I guess she's playing it safe for now, so I'm fine with HAUS LABORATORIES starting with a few lip products.

I see where you're coming from with the Amazon situation and I came here to comment after reading a couple of complaints on the horrible human conditions Amazon keeps his staff in. Every huge company is known for mistreating its workers so it's a broader issue, but we're not getting there.

I feel that you exaggerated, of course Gaga's collaboration with a problematic brand is not good, but you're making it like she purposefully chose Amazon knowing how bad they treat their workers. Her team did it, and not with evil intentions, they probably thought Amazon had a lot of custumers from around their world and got a nice deal. The end

Not gonna lie, I think it'll flop and the reviews will be pretty bad. That's my feeling and I hope I'm wrong.

Honestly, even if it does it won't be a big deal unless LM start a "Gaga's Loves Bad Working Conditions" story—never mind the bajillion celebs who work with Nike, Target, Apple, Walmart, and more. Plenty of celebs have had flop fashion lines and flop food ventures and so on. The GP press has been pretty positive so far, too, it's only some of the youtubers that haven't.

The only thing that could really hurt Gaga was if she got dragged for not having enough diversity, and she's not even doing foundation and has a diverse case of models with shades that look good on all skin tones.

Reports of Amazon treating their employees that borders on human rights abuse says otherwise. Just do your research sis.

Cite your sources, otherwise I'm calling bullshyt on your unsupported claims.  Where, when, and how exactly is Amazon allegedly committing human rights abuses?

Weren't you the person that started a thread to bash Gagas entire team awhile ago?

Amazon will ship anything  to me with zero shipping fees. Their wages at the local warehouse are higher than the local average wage, and employees get health insurance and other benefits. Amazon is one of Americas largest and most successful businesses because they do so many things right and their customers love it.

Well as a woman who has worn makeup forever I think it looks great. The colors are awesome and very flattering. I want it all. Also, do you guys really not use Amazon. That is where everyone I know orders everything.

Who cares. Either buy it or don’t. I personally love Amazon as much as I love Walmart or any other “terrible” company.

Amazon does have terrible working conditions in some areas despite the good pay (not quite as severe as the hyperbolic language used by the OP, tho). But it's honestly nowhere near as bad as Nike and Apple and if we're going to go down this path we can start calling out Disney, too, along with Target, Walmart, Reebok, HP, and more.

Big surprise—capitalism and big companies are often ugly.

So you have personally vetted every product you buy then?  Every company involved with producing whatever device you are typing on?  Every company for the clothing you wear?  Amazon has issues but if people really want to punish questionable employment practices for low wage jobs I guarantee there are much worse that probably produced products you use.  Amazon is the target du jour.  is everyone ready to pay much more and have less stuff?

For customer access I understand why HL teamed up with Amazon. I get most of my stuff from Amazon. My UK family uses Amazon daily so do most of their friends.

Yep, this exactly. It's possible to be critical and realize big companies have tentacles everywhere, to the point it's impossible to avoid them, and also provide a service that is frankly much cheaper and affordable for most Americans. There's a reason people shop at Walmart for food (and Walmart is worse than Amazon) than Whole Food (owned by Amazon as most of you know) or the local orgnaic grocery store.

Poster better be ready to toss their Iphone or Android, any Disney product, stop using 3/4 brands of American cereals, cancel 3/4s of major sports stars, cancel everyone from Gwen Stefani to Jay Z for shilling for Microsoft, cancel anyone who has every had anything to do with Diseny, and more.

TLDR: People need to be more nuanced and pragmatic. If you point out the flaws when someone starts dragging Gaga to h*ll using standards nearly everyone violates, you get accused of blindly defending Gaga smdh. And I've criticized Gaga before, but...you know nuance is a thing some on here lack lol.
