Not at all. It's just that i'm 35 and i listen to different kind of music, i like to explore,  but her music and her attitude are still my anchor and i will love her until they close my coffin.

I feel like this is totally natural for being a fan. Some eras evoke obsession, while others people sit back and chill because they aren’t too into it. I think a lot of Gaga fans are consumed with the fact that they need to love everything that she does or she is failing them. Which is toxic. I have been fans of bands or artists or actors where I have downright hated a record or a movie. It doesn’t make me “love” them any less. I just wait for the next one or listen to the old ones.

I think where Gaga fans/stans in general go wrong is instead of constructive criticism and debates, they go on attack mode and really ruin everything when they should just sit it out like you have said. I never see you on here promoting excessive negativity.

I will never forget joining this forum because I loved Joanne and seeing all the threads bashing her and the album. It really ruined my experience. Now, when Gaga releases/does something, I take a few days off of GGD.

Same here! If I don’t love an era or a project, I just wait a while, because something else will come along that I do love. If an artist strings together years of eras and projects I’m not interested in, I simply move on.

For some reason, some people here are unable to do either of the options above. The OP has been whining his dislike of everything Gaga has done for years now. It’s always the same ones.

That’s why it’s a good idea to take a break or ignore threads when new eras start, because the same little whiners show up every time.

I’ll always love her for the mark she’s made on me as a child but in terms of stanning and interest...I sadly do find that declining. Like the only reason I’m still stanning her is because of 2008-2015 and holding out for her to do something exciting again. As others pointed out here she’s not as daring or anything anymore. Like I remember how even the simplest things she did before would have my jaw on the ground and now it’s like she’s trying to appeal to more conservative audiences. The disconnect between us is also a major factor like she only comes out to promote something these days with the same “I’ve been doing [x] since I was 13” and “be brave” etc formula like girl.... I love her always will but lately I find her fading in with the more basic pop stars :awkney:

Since when I've been whining my dislike for years?

That's fake news!!!

Of course the are times I don't like what she was presenting. I don't have to like everything she put out. I hardly called that whining. Some people like to exaggerate things.

I have stanned other people in the past but never to the extent that I do with Gaga. It's been 10 years and my love for her is still the same. :flutter:

I still love her, but hey, we all grow up.

I'm not into her as much as I used to. I guess it's just normal. I'm still here for her music, but I don't see myself attending her shows in the future.

I never got the concept of stanning/idolizing someone if you are older than 13, i can't picture myself privileging one artist/genre over another there's just so much music to discover out there  that it makes no sense to me that some ppl dedicate their whole life to one pop singer that's so sad and such a waste of time :awkney:

How do ppl you only focus on one artist? Personally it'd make me sick to do that, i always need new stuff

Nope, I will love her forever because she truly changed my life.

I bought the digital and vinyl form of a Star Is Born and I saw the movie like 6 times. I’ll check her make up line and buy some just to support as I don’t wear make up but recently got really into Jeffree Star and Brettmanrock and I’m intrested in their opinions and that of other gurus. And I am waiting patiently for LG6 to drop:triggered:

Well, I like other music, but Gaga is special. I don’t know how to describe it. To me she is just the whole package. Talented, smart, creative, kind, funny. So it is fun to follow her and she what she is going to do next :kara:

I don’t Stan her less. I’m just not that self-loathing, cowardeous teenage boy was shunned by his parents. I found comfort through her music. She taught me empowerment and uniqueness, and I’m so ever grateful for that, but I’m not reliant on her to be courageous anymore.

Religion is a product to sell.
